Colin & Paulene Dickson

Colin is a Trustee, Director and Chairman of E.W.F.

Paulene is a Trustee of E.W.F.

 

Paulene and Colin were married in 1967 at Rye Lane Baptist Chapel, London and stayed in London for seven years.  Colin graduated at Trinity College of Music, London and taught music in schools.  Paulene looked after their five children, four of which are married, providing nine grandchildren and two more due summer 2010.  

After moving to Skelmersdale, Lancashire, Colin continued teaching, until he took early retirement in (in 1995), order to become more involved in mission.  He continued supply teaching and retired fully in 2007.  Paulene was a Staff Nurse on the Ophthalmic Unit at Wigan Infirmary and retired in 2005. 

Both Colin and Paulene been involved with missionary work for a number of years, with EWF and other organizations.  Paulene has been to Ukraine and Belarus and has also been to China, distributing Bibles.  Colin has been on mission to Ukraine, Belarus, Montenegro, Croatia and Tanzania.

Their children have also been involved in various missionary work in Russia, Romania, Belarus, South America and Portugal.

At home in Billinge Family Church (BFC), Colin and Paulene have been very active in various roles over the years.  These include: Alpha, Childrens work, Outreach into Old Peoples Homes, Preaching the Gospel and also as Musician, Elder and Treasurer for BFC.

Colin uses his musical talent (violin, piano and organ), in Sunday Worship and is also involved in the Church Music Group, who preach the Gospel wherever invited, including prisons.  He also gives organ recitals, accompanied by his son, Jonathan, who plays trumpet and plays second violin in the Ormskirk Music Society Orchestra.
